Getting to Alona Beach

The two most common ways to get to Alona Beach are taking a flight from Manila and via ferry trip from Cebu City. Both will arrive in Tagbilaran, Bohol, where a short ride in a van, taxi or tri-cycle of roughly 30 minutes will bring you to Alona Beach and yuor dream holiday.

Flying from Manila to Tagbilaran and return

Traveling from Manila to Alona Beach is usually done by plane (the ferry takes approx. one day). You can choose between Philippine Airlines (PAL), Cebu Pacific Air,AirPhil and ZestAir as carrier. All offer daily trips to Tagbilaran (capitol of Bohol).

Ferry from Cebu to Tagbilaran and return

With Cebu offering an international airport, it is often convenient to fly to Cebu from abroad and then continue to Bohol. Cebu City is located on Cebu Island, a neighbor of Bohol Island. From Cebu you have to take one of the many ferries to Tagbilaran. The trip takes between 100 and 120 minutes. Ferries are operated by three carriers.

Unfortunately as it stands at the moment, the municipality does not seem to want to find a solution. Settlement and compromise are not yet offered. Only vague claims and increase in dive fee have been communicated. Therefore, case is still on-going, no dive fee charged still.
